The MAC career path currently has seven levels, from Assistant Consultant through to Director. Our consulting organisation is not position driven and, as such, each level simply differentiates the increasing complexity with which our people are faced as they grow in stature.
The levels further denote an increasing scale of impact, with the focus at Assistant Consultant and Consultant levels being effectiveness as an individual.
At Senior Consultant and Principal Consultant levels the focus becomes the design and delivery of solutions through a team.
Finally, at Senior Manager, Associate Director and Director levels, the focus is on sustaining a revenue stream and thereby becoming a business partner.
We are always looking for talented individuals who share our obsession to exceed client expectations. Our selection process is comprehensive and, as the start of your relationship with MAC, is an opportunity for us to get to know each other.
There are three phases in the process, as follows:

We strive to employ the best and, as a result, our consultants are highly capable people of character, who are dedicated to understanding client needs and adding tangible value. Typically they hold several degrees and many are registered with professional bodies as engineers, psychologists and accountants.
Most offer experience in a field of expertise prior to joining MAC, many of whom completed MBA degrees in order to move over to the exciting and challenging world of management consulting. Others are new graduates looking for experience and growth in a company that has become a recognised brand in management consulting.
